Admissions
Admission procedure:-
We ordinarily admit student at the beginning of the academic term. Those seeking admission should produce with the following documents.
1.Original Transfer Certificate from the school last attended.
2.Photocopy of progress report of the child indicating his/her academic performance & passport size photos of the child.
3.One photocopy of the Aadhar card of the child & One photocopy of the birth certificate of the child.
General Instructions and Rules
Admission :
Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region, subject to the admission rules of GPS. Admission procedure usually starts in the first week of April after. Those who wish to admit their child, should collect the Prospectus and admission form from the School Office after paying the prescribed fees.
Leave :
(a) Students are not encouraged to make any request for leave of absence during the term. Even for medical visits, students should make suitable arrangement so as not to disturb the school routine.
(b) School should punished the child if they are absent for more than three consecutive days, without prior permission.
Payment of fee :
(a) In case of late fees, a fine of Rs 10/- is charged per day.
(b) In case re-admission is considered the defaulters will pay all dues, including admission fees.
Transfer Certificate :
(a) Parents should apply for TC then write an application for that and then submit to the school.
(b) TC is generally issued within 7 days after the application submitted by the parents.
Parents Responsibility :
(a) Kindly ensure that your child attends school neatly, both in person and uniform.
(b) Kindly send your child in a proper uniform
(c) You are requested to regularly check the child's performance in academic and curriculum activities.
(d) Please don't give electronic items (Mobile, MP3 player, etc) to your child. If found with children, these will be confiscated and will not be returned.
(e) Parents are not allowed to go to the class rooms for any reasons. They shall contact the Principal in case of any urgency.
(f) Parents are requested to ensure that their child utilizes vacation period for studies and completing the home work.
(g) Parents are requested to read the Student's Diary regularly.
(h) Parents are requested to co-operate with school in maintaining discipline and following the norms of the school.
School Responsibility :
(a) The aim of GPS is to produce disciplined pupils. The school reserves the right to expel any student on grounds of lack of progress in studies, immoral activity or contempt of authority.
(b) The school will inform the parents regarding inappropriate behavior of the child with suggestion for parental action and support.
